South west seafood restaurant group Rockfish is opening its latest new restaurant in Salcombe shortly. It will be its ninth location, with more openings to come this year in Sidmouth and Topsham.
Bella Italia opened a new restaurant in Witney in Oxfordshire this week. It has 100 covers and 40 more in an outdoor area.
Wagamama has set 22 April for the opening of its new restaurant at the Dome leisure development in Doncaster.
The Real Greek is joining the line-up of restaurant brands at the Oasis quarter of the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield, local media report. It is due to open there in May.
Smash burger restaurant concept Boo will open at the Merry Hill development’s leisure quarter shortly. The 2,000 square feet venue will have space for 60 diners and will be situated next door to Wingstop. Boo was founded seven years ago in Leicester and also has sites in Birmingham, Derby, Loughborough, Nottingham and Preston, with another to follow in Manchester soon.
Franco Manca has just opened its 70th UK restaurant—at the Drake Circus development in Plymouth.
Young’s has just opened the Constitution pub on St Pancras Way in Camden. It comes four years after Young’s acquired the site.
The Bird House London group will open its fourth site next week—Bird House Brewery in Herne Hill. As well as a taproom, the brewery will supply beers to Bird House’s three other sites.
The We Do Play group’s Putt Social brand has just opened on Kings Walk in Gloucester. The food offer at the venue is provided by the You Me Sushi group.
Stack, the shipping container-based food hall concept, is planning to launch a site in old Debenhams retail unit at Grand Arcade in Wigan. It will have a range of street food and bar operators and space for 2,000 people. Stack has several more openings planned, mostly in the north east.
US pizza brand Little Ceasars has just opened in Greenford—its first London location and third in total. Little Ceasars has more sites lined up in London and Liverpool.
JD Wetherspoon will open its new pub called The Swan Hook in Marlow in the summer. Local media report that work on the pub is beginning soon.
The Big Fang Collective group is planning to launch a branch of its Golf Fang competitive socialising concept in an old retail unit on Union Street in Bristol, local media report. Golf Fang currently has six sites, in Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, Newcastle and Sheffield.
Dalston cocktail bar Three Sheets has just opened a second site, on Manette Street in Soho.
Café and bakery group Gail’s will launch a site on Regent Street in the Clifton area of Bristol in May—its first location in the south west.
All-day restaurant and deli group Lina Stores will launch on Exhibition Road in South Kensington in mid-April. The 140-cover venue will be the seventh location for the brand, after Kings Cross, Clapham, Marylebone, the City and two in Soho.
