Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is to launch a fourth restaurant in London in January. It will be on Baker Street, joining restaurants in Aldgate, Canary Wharf and St Katherine’s Docks
Indian restaurant group Kricket has announced plans for a fourth location at the North Dock in Canary Wharf. It is scheduled to launch in the Spring. The other three Kricket restaurants are in Brixton, Soho and White City.
The Horsforth Brewery in Leeds has opened its first pub, called The Bull, on Town Street. Horsforth also has a taproom at its brewing headquarters.

Steakhouse group Flat Iron opened its restaurant in Leeds this week, on the corner of Albion Street and Lands Place. It is Flat Iron’s second site outside London, after Cambridge, and 14th restaurant in total.
The SSP group has launched a new café and retail concept called Café Local for rail stations. It has opened at stations in Fratton, Exeter, Reading, Dover and Sheffield, with a flagship in Peterborough. Another 15 sites are scheduled to open in the next 12 months.
The Ego restaurant group is to launch in Mere Green in the west Midlands, local media report. It is refurbishing a pub called The Fox and Dogs and will reopen in March, becoming Ego’s 30th site.
Lockes, the cocktail bar and pizza restaurant concept on Great Queen Street in Holborn that was set up by Be At One co-founder Steve Locke, will open at Battersea Rise in January.
A family leisure concept called Nerf AX has just opened a 35,000 square feet venue at Trafford Palazzo. It is a collaboration between toys and games brand Hasbro, which owns the Nerf brand, and the Manchester-based Rocafella Leisure Group. The venue will have food and drink including burgers, waffles and milkshakes from Archie’s, which has four other locations in Manchester plus sites in Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool.
