The latest news on venues opening across the UK.

Vietnamese brand Pho opens on Queen Street in Norwich this weekend. It is the group’s 43rd location in the UK. 

 

Mission Mars’ pizza brand Rudy’s says it will open its latest new restaurant on Central Way in Altrincham in July. It will be the 27th location for the group. 

 

The Remarkable Pubs group has added to its estate by buying the Spark House in Leyton in east London. It was previous run by Laine Pub Co. The deal was brokered by Fleurets. 

 

Ichikokudo Hokkaido Ramen, a concept run by the Zensho Holdings group, has just opened a first UK site on Wardour Street in Soho. The brand has around 60 locations in Japan and Singapore. 

 

Manchester-based Delhi House Café has signed for a second opening at the Royal Albert Dock in Liverpool. It has taken a 3,100 square feet unit there. Liverpool’s Pasta Cosa is also opening a site at the Royal Albert Dock, under the name of Francie’s 

 

Humble Crumble, an artisan bakery and dessert concept with operations at Camden Market, Borough Market and Spitalfields will open its first dedicated space in Seven Dials Warehouse on the corner of Earlham Street and Neal Street in London in July. The launch of the 300 square feet unit is part of plans to expand around London. 

 

Bow Hospitality, which has 11 bars and restaurants in Scotland, is opening a Pacific-style venue called Cabo in Edinburgh. The 70-cover bar and restaurant will launch on Hanover Street in July.  

 

Haworth’s Treehouse Bar & Kitchen is opening a second site in Otley, local media report. 

   

Porta Tapas Bar, a group with sites in Chester, Altrincham and Salford, has submitted plans to open a fourth location. It wants to convert an old pub in Chester. 

 

French patisserie brand Ladurée has just opened a new site above its flagship store at the Market Building in Covent Garden. 

 

German Doner Kebab is opening at the Metrocentre in Gateshead. It has taken a 2,800 square feet site within the centre’s Yellow Mall. 

 

Shaftesbury Capital has announced the opening of a new wood-fired restaurant concept called Goldies at Soho’s Kingly Court in the summer. The 1,100 square feet site has been developed by the team behind Blanchette, a French bistro on D’Arbly Street in Soho. 

 

London’s healthy café and salad bar group Bibi’s, which has four sites in Angel, Covent Garden, Golden Square and Soho, has announced a fifth opening on Devonshire Square.  

 

The Entourage Group’s steakhouse concept Mr Porter is opening at the Hilton hotel on Park Lane in London in September. Mr Porter has restaurants in Amsterdam and Barcelona. 

 

Pub group Amber Taverns is opening in Cheltenham, after receiving permission to convert an empty retail unit on the High Street. 

 

Brixton restaurant Sushi Revolution has just opened a second site on Curtain Road in Shoreditch.
