CGA takes to the track for The Tim Bacon Foundation

Support CGA and The Tim Bacon Foundation at the Great Manchester Run.

We at CGA have joined forces with The Tim Bacon Foundation to take part in the Great Manchester 10K Run on May 19th.

Four CGA employees – Rachel Weller, Kate Willett‍, Sophie Nadin‍ and LJ Leigh will be hitting the streets of central Manchester on May 19 and have clocked a combined total distance of 337.93 kilometres so far during their training.

The Tim Bacon Foundation was founded in memory of legendary north-west based restaurant and bar entrepreneur Tim Bacon. Founder of Living Ventures and famous spin-offs The Alchemist, New World Trading Company and Gusto to name a few, a thoroughly nice chap and well-respected industry figure. Sadly, Tim died of lymphoma back in 2014 and since then The Tim Bacon Foundation has been raising money for causes aiming to end the tragedy of cancer, support people living with cancer and help families affected by cancer.

To date, CGA has raised £740 and we encourage you to support this great cause – to donate, visit the Virgin Money Giving page here.
