CGA’s group chief executive Phil Tate will be among the big-name speakers discussing the opportunities and challenges for the out of home food and drink sectors at UKHospitality’s Summer Conference on Tuesday 25 June.

Tate will be setting the tone for the event with an expert overview of the turbulent restaurant, pub and bar market in 2019. He will be drawing on CGA’s suite of research sources including the this year’s Business Leaders’ Survey to set out the big trends and brands to watch, and making some forecasts for the second half of 2019 and beyond.

The ‘Hospitality: Rebooting Britain’ Summer Conference’ will pull together the different strands of hospitality and leisure to highlight their contribution to the UK economy. It will tackle some of the big issues affecting operators in 2019, look ahead to the business challenges coming down the line, and highlight opportunities from social and technological advances.

Other speakers at the Summer Conference will include UKHospitality CEO Kate Nicholls, Parkdean Resorts CEO and former Casual Dining Group CEO Steve Richards, Hilton UK and Ireland MD Stephen Cassidy, former Waitrose MD Lord Mark Price and hospitality legal expert Sarah Clover. The event takes place at Hilton Bankside in London.
