Leeds could get some fresh restaurant space if plans for the development of a retail unit in the city centre are approved, the Yorkshire Post reports.

The suggestion is to convert a Next Clearance site on the corner of Albion Street and Bond Street into restaurant space, and the Yorkshire Post says brands including Loungers’ Cosy Club, Coast to Coast, Chiquito, Chilango, Wahaca, Coal, Pizza Hut and Vapiano are all interested in the space.

Leeds has been a target city for many operators lately, with spaces around the Next site filling with brands.
