Mid-Western US barbecue concept Bodeans is to open its seventh London restaurant in Covent Garden on 1 April.
The restaurant on Catherine Street will have only 60 covers across 1,000 square feet. It has taken over a unit previously occupied by Mishkin’s. The restaurant will sell new dishes including ones inspired by a road trip to Kansas City.
Bodean’s already operates in Soho, Fulham, Old Street, Clapham, Tower Hill and Balham.
Bodean’s founder Andre Blais said: “Our return to the Midwest in January made us more determined than ever to bring authentic Kansas City-style barbecue to London’s thriving food scene. It’s where it all started for us, so to receive such a warm welcome from some of the best barbecue establishments in the world was truly humbling. When we landed back in London we had a brand new venue, a head full of truly exciting menu concepts and a band of newly acquired stateside friends.”
