As a part of the collaboration, CGA will produce reports specific to the Australian On Premise sector using CGA’s research solutions across consumer, bartender and market measurement. Drinks Association members will also benefit from custom studies that will delve into topics facing the sector.
The On Premise is multi-faceted and an essential revenue channel for drinks brands. CGA research demonstrates that the consumer Path to Purchase is heavily influenced by trial in the out of home sector. In 2021, 43 per cent of Australian consumers said that previous experiences in bars, clubs and restaurants prompted their purchase of drinks brands to enjoy at home. While 37 per cent of consumers typically try new or different drinks and brands in pubs, bars and restaurants – compared to just 33 per cent at home.
