Eleven new restaurants and cafes are to open at the East Kilbride shopping centre in a £10m redevelopment project.
The Daily Record reports that brands including Pizza Express, Nando’s, Frankie & Benny’s, Chiquito, Handmade Burger Co, Bella Italia and the Filling Station will all be moving into the Olympia Mall under the plans. Work on the revamp is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Centre director Ian McLelland told the Record: “This is an important step forward in the creation of an exciting leisure complex that will help to extend visiting hours and develop the centre as a vibrant nigh time leisure venue in the town.”
