Peach 2020: It’s a sell-out!

Peach 2020 will delve deep into the eating and drinking out sector with the latest data from CGA’s unrivalled suite of research sources.

This year’s Peach 2020 Conference and Hero & Icon Awards is now officially a sell-out, with a roll call of the industry’s top names booked in for a packed day of discussion, networking and celebration.

The Conference will be held at the Brewery on Chiswell Street in London on Wednesday November 21. The full schedule for the day can be found below, and delegates should note that the event will now start promptly at 2pm.

Peach 2020 will delve deep into the complex and challenging eating and drinking out sector with the help of the latest data from CGA’s unrivalled suite of research sources. Big issues including premiumisation, peaking food sales, oversupply and the evolving pub market will all be analysed by CGA experts including CEO Phil Tate and strategic initiatives director Rachel Weller.

Elsewhere at Peach 2020, a host of stimulating sessions will be steered by CGA vice president Peter Martin and industry insider Robin Rowland OBE. They will include a head to head with business mentor, serial entrepreneur and inspirational industry icon Karen Jones CBE, and a leaders’ panel featuring Las Iguanas managing director Mos Shamel and Moto chairman Mike Tye.

A second panel session will focus on entrepreneurship, drawing on insights from Brewhouse & Kitchen co-founder Simon Bunn, Vagabond founder Stephen Finch and Pho marketing director Libby Andrews. Brexit and the political landscape will come under the spotlight with the help of leaders from four influential business groups: UK Hospitality chief executive Kate Nicholls, National Farmers Union director general Terry Jones, the British Retail Consortium’s director of food & sustainability Andrew Opie and Food & Drink Federation chief executive Ian Wright.

The stellar Conference line-up is completed with a round-up of tech innovations from London Food Tech Week founder Nadia el Hadery, and an update on the progress of the latest industry-wide initiative to promote diversity through leadership mentoring from Holly Addison of Odgers Berndtson, with Levell Partnership director John Levell and Ventures, BT managing director Nick Hale providing new insight on the role of neurodiversity in the workplace.

There will also be plenty of time for the kind of top-level networking and socializing for which Peach 2020 is renowned. Following the Conference is the annual dinner to reveal the 2018 winners of the prestigious Hero & Icon Awards—the companies and individuals who have inspired us most this year.

Registration for Peach 2020 begins at 1pm on November 21, with the Conference starting at 2pm sharp.
