Next week’s Peach 2020 Conference and Hero & Icon Awards is now completely full, with around 400 hundred industry leaders booked to attend a day packed with industry-leading insights and networking.

The acclaimed annual event takes place at The Brewery on Chiswell Street in London on Wednesday November 20, and the full schedule for the day is below.

With the help of expert speakers from across the sector, Peach 2020 will range far and wide across the biggest challenges and opportunities in today’s market. Co-chaired by CGA vice president Peter Martin and Mowgli founder Nisha Katona MBE, it will start with an overview of key trends in food and drink from CGA’s Phil Tate, with Karl Chessell following up later in the day with exclusive data and deep insights into location planning and the hot topic of sustainability.

Big-name panels at the Conference include a session sharing the secrets of successful entrepreneurship with Grind’s David Abrahamovitch, Love Lane Brewery Bar & Kitchen’s Stephen Crawley, KERB’s Ollie Hunter and Shaftesbury’s Julia Wilkinson. The challenges of recruitment and retention will be tackled by a panel featuring BrewDog’s James Brown, New World Trading Co’s Chris Hill and Dishoom’s Kavi Thakrar.

Later in the afternoon comes scrutiny of Britain’s food supply chain with the help of LEON co-founder and the government’s food strategy lead Henry Dimbleby and the National Farmers’ Union’s Philip Hambling. UKHospitality’s Kate Nicholls provides a whistlestop tour of the latest political landscape, and the Conference wraps up with a future-gazing session featuring Bartlett Mitchell’s Wendy Bartlett MBE, multi-group chair Jane O’Riordan and Revolution Bars Group’s Rob Pitcher.

Beyond the Conference sessions, the afternoon will have plenty of time for networking, and the chance to meet CGA’s partners on the event, showcasing best-in-class services that can support businesses in out-of-home eating and drinking.

Following the Conference is the annual dinner to reveal the 2019 winners of the prestigious Hero & Icon Awards, honouring the brands and people who have led the way in a challenging year for the eating and drinking-out sector. All the shortlists for the Awards are here.
