The latest news on venues opening across the UK.

Shake Shack opens its latest new restaurant at the Grand Central development at Birmingham’s New Street station next week. It will become the 17th Shake Shack in the UK. 

 

Loungers will open its latest new venue at the Galleries retail centre in Washington in the north east next week. It is called the Cantoro Lounge. Loungers has also exchanged contracts for a new branch of its Cosy Club format at the Exchange Buildings in Swansea. 

 

Honest Burgers is shortly launching a new Smash + Grab format at its Liverpool Street restaurant. It has plans to open more sites in the quick service concept next year. 

 

Wimpy will launch a new restaurant on West Street in Brighton before the end of the year, local media report.  

 

Midlands burger brand The Beefy Boys has announced plans for a fourth restaurant in Bath in 2025. The Beefy Boys’ other restaurants are in Hereford, Shrewsbury and Cheltenham. 

 

Steakhouse group Flat Iron will open its latest new restaurant at Terminus Place in London’s Victoria on 10 December. It will be Flat Iron’s 17th location.  

 

Mexican burrito brand El Mex is joining the line-up at the Stack development in Lincoln in early December. It will be a ninth location for the group.  

 

Pizza brand Homeslice has just opened a new operation on the fifth floor at the Harvey Nichols store in Knightsbridge. It is a fourth location, after Marylebone, Covent Garden and the City. 

 

Steak restaurant and cocktail bar brand The Cut & Craft is opening on Mosley Street in Manchester in the Spring, local media report. It will be a third location for the brand, after Leeds and York. 

 

Bill’s has just opened at Queens Court in Milton Keynes—its first new site in six years. It is also preparing to launch at the Clarks Village outlet centre in Street. 

 

Dave’s Hot Chicken, the US-based quick service brand, has set 7 December for the opening of its first UK site, on Shaftesbury Avenue in London. It is launching under franchise with the Azzurri Group. 

 

Casual Chinese brand Noodle & Beer is opening a second site on Wardour Street in London’s Chinatown, Shaftesbury Capital has announced. The 950 square feet restaurant will launch in January, joining the original Noodle & Beer in Spitalfields. 

 

JW Lees has opened The Bellflower pub in Garstang after acquiring it from Marston’s. 

 

Bristol brewery Left Handed Giant has set up an operation called Commune Café at the Blok development in the city.  

 

BrewDog has signed a deal to sell its beer at the Lord’s cricket ground. The arrangement will include a BrewDog-branded craft beer terrace. 

 

Milan-based sandwich brand De Santis has just launched a first UK operation, at Mercato Metropolitano in London’s Mayfair. 

 

The Midlands-based Soho Tavern group, which runs pubs with Indian food, will open a seventh site in Sutton Coldfield next year. It also has plans for a Leeds opening.
