Red Engine’s competitive socialising brand Electric Shuffle says it will open a 9,400 square feet site at Lewis Cubitt Park within the Coal Drops Yard development in King’s Cross in the Spring. It will be a third London site for Electric Shuffle, which also has venues in Leeds and Manchester, plus three in the US.

Indian group Dishoom has submitted plans to open a new restaurant in Glasgow. Local media report that it wants to convert two parts of the old Stock Exchange building on Nelson Mandela Place that have previously been used by the Absurd Bird restaurant and a retailer. It would be a second Scotland site for Dishoom after Edinburgh.
