Burger & Lobster is to launch a tenth London restaurant on Kensington High Street, in a unit that was previously occupied by Gordon Ramsay’s Street Burger. It is scheduled to launch in April.
The Individual Restaurants group has announced plans for a new Neapolitan pizza restaurant called Forbici. It will open on Cross Street in Manchester in March, with more openings to follow. 
Hall & Woodhouse has opened a large new-build pub, restaurant and café in Crowthorne near Buckler’s Forest in Berkshire. It has spent £5m on the venue, which has 150 covers over two floors.
Nando’s opened its latest new restaurant on Grosvenor Road in Tunbridge Wells this week.
Indian street food group Mowgli is to open its first restaurant in Northern Ireland, local media report. It will be on Victoria Square in Belfast and is due to open in the summer.
Popeyes opens at the Hatters Way retail park in Luton this weekend—its 71st UK restaurant. It has also announced plans to launch on Princes Street in Edinburgh—its first in the city and seventh in Scotland.
The Stable pizza restaurant concept has just opened on the harbour in Padstow in Cornwall. The 120-cover site is The Stable’s tenth location.
US brand Wendy’s plans to open a new restaurant on the Promenade near Blackpool Tower, local media report. It is also about to open on the high street in Watford as it continues a rapid UK rollout.
The Herringbone restaurant brand, part of Scotland’s Buzzworks group, will open a fourth site in the Edinburgh suburb of Barnton in May. It has two other sites in the city and one in Berwick.
The Cinnamon Collection is to launch a third location for its Cinnamon Kitchen brand in Leeds in May. The restaurant will be within the Queen’s Hotel in the city. The other two Cinnamon Kitchens are in the City and Battersea in London.
Salad bar group Atis will open on Long Acre in London’s Covent Garden in mid-March. It will be the brand’s ninth location.
The Trafford Centre in Manchester has unveiled a new Eastern Garden restaurant area focused on independent operators based in the city. It succeeds a part of the centre that was once known as Chinatown. The Eastern Garden line-up includes Peruvian restaurant Nichi, a fifth site for Chit ‘n’ Chaat, food hall concept Hello Oriental and a third location for Blanchflower Coffee and Bakery.
Greene King has just opened its refurbished pub by Liverpool Street station in London. It is called The Railway and will have new live sports screens, digital darts and private areas. Greene King has invested £1m in the refurb.
The Tenpin bowling, gaming and bar brand is opening at the Kingfisher shopping centre in Redditch in July.
The Willow restaurant group opened a third location this week in Mere Green near Sutton Coldfield in the west Midlands. The other two Willow branches are in Telford and Trentham.
