The latest news on venues opening across the UK.

GH Burgers Group that opened its first Wendy’s site in London, is set to launch a second branch in Fulham. 

 

Better gourmet business Luxford Burgers has said it is targeting a ten-strong estate by the second quarter of next year. The six-strong business has focused this year on growing its bricks-and-mortar offering and its new site in the Canonmills area of Edinburgh will be launching in early September 

 

Urban Pubs & Bars, the London pub operator has added to its estate in the capital, with an acquisition in East Dulwich. The now 44-strong business has acquired The Herne – a Victorian pub that was built in the mid-19th century and has a huge beer garden. 

 

Café bar operator Loungers has opened its 230th Lounge site and lined up an opening on a further former Banyan venue in Yorkshire. The group has opened its latest site in the former library in Nailsea, north Somerset. 

 

Fatto a Mano, the independent pizza concept, is to open a third site in London, in Bethnal Green. 

 

Irish-themed bar concept Katie O’Briens is set to open two new sites before the end of the year. The five-strong business, which opened in Nottingham at the end of June, is understood to have secured the Bar Soba site in Greek Street, Leeds, and a site in Broad Street, Birmingham.  

 

Indian street food concept Chit ‘n’ Chaat is to open its fourth site in Manchester, this autumn. The business, which also operates a site in London’s Bethnal Green, has secured a 2,000 square-foot site in the Trafford Centre. 

 

Breadstall, the London biga-style pizza business, has secured its debut bricks-and-mortar site, in London’s Soho.

 

Young’s will open a new pub with rooms this autumn in Farnham, Surrey. The Teller’s Arms will open in the former Lloyd’s Bank building, in the town’s Castle Street. The pub will open in October complete with nine boutique rooms and a rooftop terrace. 

 

The Big Table Group – the Epiris-backed operator of Las Iguanas, Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny’s and Banana Tree – is to open a second site in central London under its Amalfi concept. 

 

Permanently Unique Group, the independent restaurant business formerly known as Tattu, will launch its new restaurant and musical venue, Louis, in Manchester next month. 

 

Wingstop UK, which is being rolled out here by Lemon Pepper Holdings has opened its latest site in the UK, its 49th, at the White Rose Shopping Centre, marking the third Leeds site for the brand.
