Brands and businesses are being forced to adapt culturally and operationally to the new out-of-home market reality. So how can big global names maintain their presence in increasingly locally-focused markets – and ‘local’ concepts grow outside their home patch?

Those will be the key themes on the agenda the latest joint CGA and Atlantic Club webinar on Wednesday, October 21.

The event’s keynote speaker will be the legendary global leadership guru Jim Sullivan, who will share how the companies he is working with during the COVID-19 crisis have been evolving their ways of working – and how he has adapted too.

Sullivan – who had to postpone his annual London Masterclass in April – will focus on how the growing impact of technology, third-party delivery, ghost kitchens, the gig economy, career-pathing, AI, virtual reality and shifting leadership styles are already profoundly affecting the way we view and manage our people and performance.

CGA Vice President and Atlantic Club founder Peter Martin will chair proceedings, with leading experts and operators from both the UK and US joining the discussion, including:

  • Alexandra Martin, US Retail Services director at Nielsen CGA, who will present the latest insight on the new sales and consumer patterns shaping the global market, and pick some of the brands staying ahead of the pack;
  • Sarah Jenkinson, design director at Harrison US, who will discuss how brands are redesigning for the new trading landscape, while keeping their brand culture intact;
  • Luke Fryer, founder of Harri, will explore how the workplace experience is being redefined for front-line teams.
  • Terry Varner, president, Herman/Stewart
  • Barry McGowan, CEO, Fogo de Chao

The webinar is hosted by CGA and Peter Martin’s Atlantic Club, in partnership with Harrison, Herman/Stewart and Harri.
