CPL Learning Makes Mental Health and Personal Resilience Course Accessible for Free

CPL Learning announces they are making Mental Health Support Champion and Personal Resilience e-learning courses free to access. Following the launch of the free Coronavirus – Taking Proactive Action online course last week, CPL Learning has decided to offer free access to their Mental Health Support Champion and Personal Resilience e-learning courses.

CPL Learning, the learning & development partner to the hospitality sector, has today announced that they are making their Mental Health Support Champion and Personal Resilience e-learning courses free to access. This follows the launch of their free Coronavirus- Taking Proactive Action e-learning course last week.

This decision has been made to help support team members in the hospitality sector to deal with the challenges they are currently facing.

“The hospitality industry is facing an unprecedented period of change and uncertainty, and we felt it was important that we look to support the mental, as well as physical, wellbeing of team members.” Said Martin Hilton, Director of Learning and Education, CPL Learning.

“These are uncertain times for us all, and we understand that we need to support our industry and people as much as possible. We have seen an enormous response to our Coronavirus- Taking Proactive Action e-learning course, with over 65,000 courses assigned and continuing to rise each day. There is a huge demand for support and information at this time. As the learning and development partner to the hospitality sector, we will continually look for ways to support.” Continued Hilton.

The Mental Health Support Champion course, which forms part of the CPL Learnings Wellbeing range, aims to promote good mental health and wellbeing. After completion, learners will be able to recognise the symptoms of mental ill-health, provide practical advice for colleagues and friends and identify ways in which to improve their own mindfulness.

The Personal Resilience e-learning course, which also forms part of the CPL Learnings Wellbeing range, aims to provide learners with an understanding of personal resilience, gain insight into the actions to take to aid recovery from demanding or unanticipated situations that may link to mental health problems.
