Experts from CGA will be sharing exclusive new insights into British pubs at Pub19, the big annual trade show for the sector.
Business unit director Karl Chessell will be among the speakers in the show’s Pub Theatre, outlining the evolution of the market in recent years and identifying reasons for pub operators, suppliers and investors to feel confident about prospects for 2019 and beyond. In conjunction with Pub19, CGA has produced a detailed new report into consumer and operator trends for British pubs, to be launched at the show.
CGA vice president Peter Martin will meanwhile be in conversation at the show with Tim Martin, founder and chairman of JD Wetherspoon. They will be discussing the growth of Wetherspoon into a near-1,000 site business, as well as topical issues including Brexit and social media.
Karl Chessell’s session takes place at 11am on Tuesday 5 February and Peter Martin’s at 11.15am on Wednesday 6 February.
Pub19 is set to draw 5,000 pub owner and operators, 200 suppliers and 50 speakers across the seminar programme. For more about the event and to register for free tickets, click here.
