Experts from CGA will be sharing exclusive market insights and talking to the industry’s biggest leaders at the 2019 Casual Dining show in London on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 February.

CGA’s client directors Fiona Speakman and Chris Jeffrey will be among the keynote speakers, exploring the latest market trends and highlighting ways foodservice suppliers and operators can work together more effectively.

CGA vice president Peter Martin will meanwhile host head to head interviews with a trio of important and influential leaders: Pizza Hut CEO Jens Hofma, Casual Dining Group CEO Steve Richards and Carluccio’s CEO Mark Jones. He will also chair a panel session exploring international growth opportunities with Hawksmoor founder Will Beckett, Competitive Socialising co-founder Matt Grech-Smith and Social Entertainment Ventures CEO Tony Harris.

The speakers will be among around 50 people taking part in the keynote programme across 25 different sessions. The show is switching venue in 2019 to London ExCel—a move that means it can now accommodate two keynote theatres for the first time.

Other big names speaking at Casual Dining will include Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group CEO Jon Knight, Dishoom co-founder Shamil Thakrar, New World Trading Co CEO Chris Hill and Pizza Pilgrims co-founder Thom Elliot. Those appearing at Casual Dining for the first time include wagamama’s Andre Johnstone, Mitchells & Butlers’ Anna-Marie Mason, Bill’s Lesley McIlroy, Revolution Bars Group’s Kate Eastwood and Las Iguanas’ Lucy Harwood.

“In these turbulent times, it’s more important than ever that our great industry gets together. I’m very happy to be speaking at our industry trade show, Casual Dining,” says Dishoom’s Shamil Thakrar.

Casual Dining will feature more than 200 exhibitors, with around 5,000 visitors expected. More information about the event and the keynote programme is here. Industry professionals can register for free tickets here.
