Loungers has set 30 April for the opening of its new Vetro Lounge at the Forge Island development in Rotherham. The group opened its latest new site called Saludo Lounge this week in Workington in Cumbria.

Gail’s has applied for permission to open on Union Street in Bath, local media report. It continues an expansion in the south west that will see it launch on College Green in Bristol in late March.

Taiwanese restaurant group Din Tai Fung opened its latest new restaurant at Crossrail Place in Canary Wharf this week. It is a fourth site, after Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Riad and Selfridges on Oxford Street.
US brand Popeyes will open its latest new restaurant on the high street in Sutton next week. It will bring Popeyes’ UK estate to 71.
The 081 Pizzeria restaurant in Peckham has announced a second opening on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch. The 2,000 square feet site will launch in April.
