Creative head of Jamie Oliver Media joins speaker roster for CGA’s Consumer Insight & Marketing Conference

Zoe Collins, who as chief content officer at the Jamie Oliver Media Group is responsible for all TV, publishing and digital content created by and on behalf of the group, will bring a different perspective to both those challenges when she joins the speaker line-up at this year’s event at Kings Place, London, on 6 April.

Understanding changing consumer tastes in the fast moving, and often fickle, food and drink market will be a central theme of this year’s CGA Peach Consumer Insight & Marketing Conference – as will be knowing the best ways to communicate with the increasingly food-literate public.

Zoe Collins, who serves as chief content officer at the Jamie Oliver Media Group is responsible for all TV, publishing and digital content created by and on behalf of the group, will bring a different perspective to both those challenges when she joins the speaker line-up at this year’s event at Kings Place, London, on 6 April.

Collins responsibilities include all of Jamie’s TV shows, books, magazines, YouTube and social content, mobile apps and web experiences. She will be sharing those experiences with the audience of marketing professionals from across the eating and drinking out sector.

Her background is in TV and radio where she first met Jamie working on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show before helping him establish Fresh One Productions. She went on to executive produce most of the company’s food output as well Jamie’s TV shows including the Emmy award-winning Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution (ABC); Jamie & Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast; Jamie’s 30 & 15 Minute Meals; Jamie’s Fowl Dinners and Jamie’s Super Food.

Following the successful launch of the Jamie Oliver Food Tube Network, Zoe has been driving the digital content strategy and has more recently taken on a wider responsibility across the group, to bring together all content creation under her leadership.

The theme this year’s CGA Peach conference is Championing the Consumer, and Collins will be one of a string of high profile speakers addressing the challenges of staying in tune with the pubic and their tastes and habits in a crowded market both in and out-of-home.

The conference will examine the changing role of marketing in hospitality and leisure and what sets it apart from fmcg promotion – and how to be both customer advocate and brand guardian within organisations.

The agenda will set out the sector’s priorities for 2017, including highlighting the need for greater understanding of consumer types, with a preview of CGA’s new food and drink focused segmentation work

Other speakers already signed up include: Charlie McVeigh, founder of Draft House; Libby Andrews, head of marketing Vietnamese restaurant group Pho; and Andre Johnstone, head of digital and loyalty at Wagamama.

The event will be chaired by CGA Peach’s Peter Martin and Jamie Campbell.

Last year’s event attracted around 150 marketing and insight professionals, brand owners, board directors and entrepreneurs from across the eating and drinking out marketplace.

The CGA Peach Insight & Marketing Conference will be held on Thursday 6 April at Kings Place, 90 York Way, London, N1 9AG. Sessions start at 2.00pm and conclude at 5.45pm, followed by a drinks reception for discussion and networking.
