Macclesfield is to get a new £15m restaurant and leisure scheme on the site of a big car-park.
The scheme on Churchill Way has been approved by the local council in Cheshire, and will be developed by Ask Real Estate. The council says it will create 175 new jobs, and have face space as well as restaurant units.
Councillor Don Stockton said: “I am delighted that we are a significant step closer to delivering on our promise to the people of Macclesfield. We have said that we will regenerate the town and increase footfall for the benefit of retailers and businesses and this is the start of that process.”
