Casual Dining Group is continuing a wave of expansion for its Bella Italia brand with four launches this month—and plans for 20 by the end of May.

The February launches so far have been in Colliers Wood and Orpington in London, both on retail parks. Another opening follows at the Silverburn shopping centre in Glasgow tomorrow (17 February) and Kingston-upon-Thames next Wednesday (24 February). Both of these are sites previously occupied by La Tasca, which Casual Dining Group acquired last summer.

The February openings will take Bella Italia’s total UK estate to 97. It has been targeting leisure and retail parks for the bulk of its openings lately.

Casual Dining Group property director Phil Derbyshire said: “These four openings mark the beginning of a really busy four months for Bella, with sites set to open in some of the premier leisure retail schemes in the UK.”
