The Thai Leisure Group says it will open eight to ten new sites this year after sales passed the £30m mark in 2015.

The group has been busy rolling out its casual Thaikhun brand, alongside its more upmarket Chaophraya restaurant concept and other standalone ventures. It now has 15 sites in all. The first launch of 2016 will be at the Metro Centre in Newcastle, with Guildford, Aberdeen and other towns to follow in the year.

Managing director Ian Leigh said: “We are incredibly proud of TLG and how far it has come in 2015. It was a wonderful year for the whole team, and this is something we want to continue into the coming year.”
